Washed for the first time

I washed my hair last night for the first time I was so scared I would do it wrong. I still dont know if I did it right but my hair didnt unravel so I guess i did a good job. Also when I washed my hair I counted my locks, when they were being installed Yvonne (my consultant) lost count at 130. I bundled them in groups of 20. I counted 544 baby locs.

Welcome to liberty and Sisterlocks. I love the color of your hair. I've had mine for 16 months and I'm waiting for the day that I can get a little color.

Wow, thats a lot of locks, girl! Looks like you did a great job. I am getting re-installed this weekend, and I think mine will be about as long as yours. I will definitely be following your progress.

544! Wow! That's amazing! Sounds like you had some drama trying to find someone to do yours. I'm glad you stuck it out! You won't regret it. I love my SLs more and more as time goes by.

As meticulous as you are, I know you didn't lose count!

If you should ever take the retightening class, you will probably have the most maintained locks around.

I did my Sisterlocks the same weekend as you. But tell me how do you prepare your hair at nights before going to bed? I usually braid and band mine before going to bed. Because I am afraid I should not be braiding every night.

Also your SL looks gorgeous, did you have any perm ends at all? I still have perm ends so mine look frizzy. Cant wait for them to go but that probably around December before doing something about them.

Thanks,
maureen

I may as well, stop procratinating; and get the real thing! Cause, I'm currently spending 160.00 every 3 mos. for weaved 2 strand twists.
